It's rare you look up a place and the food both looks and tastes as good as the review photos. This is one of those places! The chicken is awesome, the staff is warm and casual, and the menu is fun. We had a great family date here and had to take a walk after because I couldn't stop stealing fries and tenders from my daughter's plate.

A nice cafe on Beacon Hill which happens to have great soft serve! We had the special- Berry Sundae & the fig leaf & coconut cone. Both were huge servings! The Berry compote for the sundae wasn't very sweet & tasted homemade. The fig leaf coconut cone wasn't overly sweet & with a nice coconut flavor. Seems they have rotating flavors so I guess I'll be frequenting the area:)

We stopped by Milk Drunk to try the seasonal soft serve flavors (ube and pumpkin) while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. The soft serve was delicious, reasonably priced, and big enough to share between two people! While enjoying our soft serve, we noticed the fried chicken and burgers that other customers had ordered, and they looked very appealing. The restaurant we originally planned to visit had a long wait, so we ended up dining at Milk Drunk instead. We ordered the Homer burger and a special one: Flaming Hot Cheetos. The fried chicken patty was juicy and tender, and one burger definitely filled us up. The skin was lightly crispy, and the Homer sandwich had a mild spice that wasn't overpowering. We'll definitely be back to try more sandwiches and seasonal soft serve flavors. The restaurant is conveniently located near bus stops and a light rail station.

This is a cute little restaurant in the Beacon Hill area. We found parking a couple streets away in the neighborhood and actually had dinner elsewhere but came here for dessert. They have soft serve flavors like vanilla and strawberry, but they also have matcha and ube as well as seasonal flavors. For regular food, they also offer chicken sandwiches AND they have a lovely little cocktail menu. You order from the counter/cash register and pick up your food, then bus your own table when you're finished. The service was friendly and quick. I ordered the dirty Shirley, which I guess is an alcoholic version of a Shirley temple and it was so good. For $11, it was also one of the cheaper cocktails I've had in awhile, but I would definitely come back here to get it again.... Or maybe since, you know, I don't even live here, I could somehow get the recipe..... it was fruity and bubbly and didn't taste much like rum, but I definitely started feeling the alcohol. I had a bite of my friends' pumpkin soft serve and it was good. I like how they have hard shell toppings that you can add and that the menu is so affordable. I'd be back for another dirty Shirley and soft serve in the future :)

I've been warming up to Milk Drunk more and more recently. Maybe it's because with all the inflation recently their prices haven't elevated meaning that their offering is a pretty solid value. On top of that, they've been relatively consistent the last few times I've been, delivering a very tasty Nashville style hot chicken sandwich and I'm always a sucker for curly fries. If you're in the area and craving a good chicken sandwich, give 'em a shot!

Got the general and it was super yummy! Great texture of the chicken and the sauce was delicious. Loved the curly fries. Also got the chocolate and vanilla soft serve which was also a great flavor and texture. Inside has limited seating but there is also seating outside that is uncovered. Service was on the slower end but it was pretty busy when I went

I bookmarked this place a while back when I saw a video on social media featuring their mozzarella sticks. I just knew this was going to be a place I had to take my son. And these mozzarella sticks did not disappoint. They were big, cheesy and delicious. The cheese was more flavorful than I anticipated and had the perfect texture. Melted but still some nice chew & texture to it. The batter on the fried mozzarella was super crispy without being too hard and seasoned nicely. The marinara dipping sauce was alright. Not bad but nothing to rave about. The soft serve was creamy and and not overbearing with a heavy sweetness. The chocolate was rich and dark. The chicken sandwich was okay. I wouldn't come out of my way for their chicken sandwich here. I will say it is a nice big piece of chicken on the sandwich. You can tell they cut it down to size. I feel like I would have enjoyed the sandwich more with a different bun. Service was great. The staff was friendly. This place can definitely get busy and there is limited seating on the inside. I'd definitely come back to get more mozzarella sticks and maybe try a salad a seasonal flavor for their soft serve.

Spent $16 on The Strips and it wasn't that great. Chicken was dry and so were the fries. I tried dumping them in ketchup but it was just a lot of fried-ness. It would've been nice to break it up with some pickles. Service was pretty ok. There was a rush coming in at 9pm for ice cream. I think $6 for soft serve might be worth it so I'm giving it 3 stars for that and ambiance but for food I wouldn't really pick this spot. Only come for the soft serve.

Milk Drunk is a neighborhood hot spot, so the lines can get crazy in the evening/summer but there's usually plenty of seating, especially since they updated their patio. It's the same owners as Homer down the street, an amazing restaurant you should also check out. I'm a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken, and this is one of my favorite places for it, actually better than most places in Nashville. The only thing is that the Nashville chicken sandwiches are too wet. For the most part, the components of each dish is top notch but Milk Drink is missing the "perfect bite" because the sandwiches can be a little unbalanced at times (too much chicken to veggies and bun ratio). I would recommend these: * Nashville hot chicken sandwich * Curry sando - special item * Chicken strips * Soft serve - rotating flavors, very creamy and delicious * Curly fries - I just wish it was slightly less crispy. Service is overall nice but a little varied. They sometimes let us order the soft serve first and pick it up later when we are ready for dessert, but the last time we went, they said we had to pick up the soft serve before our food (which makes no sense as most people do not want dessert before food).
